Baby Blessings Preschool - happy children

Friday Newsletter 5 February 2021

5 February 2021

Good morning Moms and Dads,

We hope you are all well on this glorious Friday morning!

I am grateful

Children are a precious gift from God. So, when the challenges of life come along, it is easy to fear for their futures. But praise God, we have the gift of praying for children we know and love, and those around the world who may be facing difficult times.

Take encouragement from the fact that our God is fully in control of all things. Remind yourself that “we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28

Praying for children is one of the most powerful things you can do as a parent or a caregiver. When inclined to worry about the future of our children – as we naturally do from time to time – use this special prayer to lift up your children to our loving Heavenly Father.

Prayer: Lord God, we praise you that you are fully in control of all things. I pray you would protect my child. Keep them healthy and help them to thrive. I thank you that you know every hair on their head. You know exactly when they rise and when they fall. Watch over my child in every area of their life and keep them safe I pray, Amen.

A warm welcome to Elaria and her family who joined us this week!

We hope that your journey with us will be a happy one!

Self-confidence originates from a perception of competence – or, to put it more simply, children develop confidence because of their own accomplishments. As the days go by, we have the honour of watching each of our children here at school becoming more confident and self-assured as they learn and complete each new task / activity.

“Confident children believe in themselves and are able to face new challenges without fear – essential factors for a happy and fulfilling life”.

A quick reminder to Parents:

What to wear to school?

Clothes puzzle

  • You can be sure your child will come home covered in glue, glitter, paint or mud, so don’t dress him / her in anything fancy. Buy long-lasting clothes that can handle being scrubbed and soaked to get rid of s+0tains.
  • Elastic waistbands, while not trendy, are best for young children who are still learning to go to the toilet on their own.
  • Choose an appropriate fit – clothes that are too big or too small will not be comfortable and will get in the way of their concentration.
  • Proper shoes – Flip-flops and strappy sandals are cute but can cause children to trip while running and playing.

A fun activity to do at home:

Picnic in my castle

Overall, a wonderful week had by all!

Theme for next week: Friendship week

Bible Theme: God made the world!

That’s it for this week Moms and Dads. But before we go…

A little thought for the day:

When you

Blessings to all for a wonderful weekend ahead
Love Anne, Chantal, and the Team at Baby Blessings
