Good afternoon Moms and Dads,
Remember, Valentines Day is not just for couples, but to celebrate love in all forms…Spread love to those around you, and remember that not only today but each day you can make a difference in someone’s life…
We would like to start this week with a prayer of thankfulness, as the Lord continues to bless our school with new children and their families. Welcome to you all: Hunter, Alexandra and Vincent!
(“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him.) Jeremiah 17:7
The children have all been hard at work creating their Valentines’ Day gifts for you this week. “Love has been all around”.
Just taking a moment to look back on our Bible activities over the last 2 weeks… The children learnt about “God made the World, God made the animals, and even ME.
Are they ever too young to be told that Jesus loves THEM?
Thursday is our Bible Activity Day for the week, with activities relating to the Evangeli Christian Curriculum, also including a Bible story and song each week.
As the children hear the stories, they begin to learn that Jesus can do amazing things, and that He loves each one of them! To be able to share and impart just a little bit of knowledge into the lives of each one of our children here at school is to us the greatest blessing.

HEARCARE PLUS will be conducting an
Annual hearing screening test
here at school on the 26th of February 2020 at a cost of R100 per child.
(Please note that this is an optional service)
Annual screening tests are important to determine the health and hearing status of a child’s ears. Early identification and treatment of any hearing or ear related difficulty is vitally important in order to prevent any speech, language and learning disabilities. Please see attachment included with this mail for all relevant information, and complete reply slip below should you be interested in your child participating. Thanks Parents!
This is to confirm that I, ____________________, hereby give permission for my child, ___________________ to participate in the Hearing Screening Test (Yes / No) ______ to take place here at school on the 26th of February 2020.
And lastly, on an important note:
Please could we ask Parents whose child / children have any signs of a fever, vomiting, eye infections, diarrhoea or any blisters on their hands, feet or in their mouth, to PLEASE KEEP THEM AT HOME! There are so many highly contagious germs in the air out there.
Our theme for next week:
Hands and Five Senses
Bible Theme: God made the Animals
That’s it for now, but before we go…
Thought for the day…
Blessings to all for a wonderful weekend ahead!
