Friday Newsletter 12 April 2019 (Day Care Center)
12 April 2019
Good Morning Moms and Dads!
Today…
Let this be the start of a blessed Friday and weekend ahead.
Firstly, a warm welcome back to all of our children and Parents, and a big welcome to Sayen who has just joined us! For those children who attended Holiday Care, great fun was had by all! It is great to be back, and we look forward to a wonderful term ahead.
Day Care Center Puppet Show
(Children enjoying a puppet show during holiday care at our day care center, acted out by Teacher May and Ianthe…)
Please could we ask Parents to keep one of our little children here at school, Marang (in Teacher May’s class) and her parents in your thoughts and prayers. She is linked to an oxygen tank for 6 months to strengthen her lungs and will not be able to attend school for at least 6 months.
Thanks so much!
The children have settled back into their “school routine” from their day care centres and have been introduced to our theme for this week and next week which is The Easter Message.
EASTER… The weekend that saved the whole world
The following was taken from an article from Focus On The Family which we wanted to share with our Parents.
- The children will also be taking part in an Easter Egg Hunt here at school next week Tuesday: Fun, fun, fun! They have already made their Easter hats and baskets and are looking forward to finding their eggs!

School Photographs:
Please take note of the date booked for our school photographs to take place here at school next week Wednesday the 17th of April. These are always beautiful, however, parents are under no obligation to purchase these photos.
On a more important note: Although we have mentioned this on numerous occasions, please could we urgently ask Parents, nanny’s and anybody picking up children from school to be extra vigilant in the CAR PARK ie.
- Making sure that the path behind / next to your vehicle is clear before entering / exiting the car park
- Please make sure that you hold your child’s hand in the car park to ensure that they do not run across the parking.
- For anybody walking, to please be on the lookout for vehicles in the car park.
*Please also keep an eye on your surroundings when eg. Leaving car doors open while getting your child / children in or out of your vehicle. We always have one of our ladies based at the gate with a panic button in the case of an emergency but still need to be extra cautious. Your safety and the safety of the children is of utmost importance to us.
Please could we ask Parents for any A4 paper that has been used on 1 side. This always comes in useful during class time. Thanks Parents!
That’s it for this week… But before we go:
Thought for the day…
Have a glorious day!
From all of us here at Baby Blessings
